Technical workforce development
ROOTS Systems bring employer-aligned technical training directly to colleges, CTE programs, workforce organizations, and employers. Each implementation can combine industrial-style equipment, hands-on curriculum, instructor preparation, assessments, installation, and continuing support. Credential pathways and final system configurations are selected with the institution and applicable issuing organizations.
ROOTS systems may be eligible expenses under Perkins V, WIOA, EDA, CHIPS-related, or state workforce programs when allowed by the applicable grant. Eligibility and allowable costs are determined by the funding agency and award terms; ROOTS supports technical planning and documentation but does not guarantee funding.
Advanced manufacturing
The RISE Series delivers a stackable learning progression from foundational robot operation to advanced integration, troubleshooting, and Industry 4.0 systems work. Depending on the selected equipment, course design, and issuing organization, a RISE implementation can align with Universal Robots and CAROL 4.0 learning pathways and support preparation toward relevant CIP, SACA, NIMS, or MSSC competencies and credentials. Final credential selection, eligibility, and testing requirements are determined with the institution and credential issuer.
Semiconductor fabrication
The SEMI Series helps institutions build a hands-on technician pipeline for semiconductor manufacturing. Configurations can introduce cleanroom procedures, programmable controls, photolithography, plasma etch, metrology, wafer handling, automation, and advanced-packaging concepts in an education-focused environment. Depending on the selected configuration and course design, training may support progress toward SAT and Universal Robots e-Series requirements and preparation for applicable SACA, MSSC, NIMS, OSHA, or Six Sigma credentials. Credential availability and eligibility are determined by the issuing organization.

Logistics
The TRAC Series delivers hands-on training in logistics, supply-chain automation, and warehouse robotics. Depending on the selected configuration and course design, coursework can align with competencies associated with MSSC and ASCM while also supporting institution-specific certificates and degrees. Credential availability, testing requirements, and eligibility depend on the institution and credential issuer. Students gain applied experience with automated workflows, sensor-driven material handling, controls, and Industry 4.0 logistics systems used in modern distribution and fulfillment environments.
Healthcare robotics education
The CARE Series brings healthcare simulation, collaborative robotics, machine vision, safety, and robot programming into an education-focused learning environment. Students use mannequins, anatomical models, cameras, instruments, and simulated materials to explore robotically assisted procedure concepts while building transferable automation and technical skills.
Designed for health science, allied health, biomedical, robotics, and interdisciplinary STEM/STEAM pathways, CARE combines equipment, a five-module curriculum, assessments, LMS delivery, instructor preparation, installation, and ongoing support. CARE is for education and simulation only; it is not a medical device and is not intended for diagnosis, treatment, surgery, therapy, or patient care.
